Article One Human dignity should never be dishonored. All state authority must respect and protect it. Human rights are binding law. Article Two Everyone has the right to free personal development, life, and physical integrity. Freedom of the person is protected. Article Three All people are equal before the law. Discrimination based a person, gender, race, disabilty, religion, or origin is illegal. Article Four Freedom of belief, conscience, and religion is guaranteed. No one may be forced into military service against their will. Article Five Everyone may express opinions freely and access information. Freedom of the press and art is guaranteed. The only limits being to protect the young and personal honor.

Article Six Marriage and family are under special state protection. Parents have the primary right to raise their children. Article Seven Parents decide on their children's religious instruction. Private schools are allowed under conditions. Article Eight All german can get together peacefully and without weapons. Article Nine All german are allowed to make association and societies as long as it doesn't oppose consitutional order or criminal law. Article Ten Privacy of mail, post, and telecommunications is guaranteed, with restrictions only under law for security purposes.
